Hi Z, Easter Island....What a mystery. I had no idea there were so many of the Moai. I loved your photos and would love to have sat and contemplated those structures for hours, especially overlooking the Ocean.....

I was sorry there were not more places to experience the food....I wonder what their food is similar to....South American or Polynesian??? Do they have any growing abilities, like coffee? Obviously tourism being their only real source of income and sustenance, they will become more and more commercialized, and like you expressed, hopefully not another Cancun, etc. I had no idea also that it is so very far from anything. Geography is not my strong suit, but love that you are doing my explorations for me.....Stay well....V
